SASTA Background
|
The South African Tuck Shop Business Association (SASTA) being a non-profit
organization and community developing business association currently has
more than 3000 member’s country wide in South Africa. Members are people
who own businesses located in cities, small towns, taxi ranks, townships
and locations stemming from Rose Nkosi's deep empathy and understanding that, for most of those business owners,
for most of these people, these businesses are the sole source of income for
them and their families.
They provide a valuable service in their
communities, which are often remotely situated at a considerable traveling
distance from the formal shopping centers, providing essentials to the
community at all hours.
